Things people say to or ask me:
1. "Must be nice working (4) hours a day " ... my day begins at 9am, in boxers, on my pc, doing research for my show. The world changes a lot over night and it takes a lot of work to keep up. Ten to twelve hour days are normal. Other than that, I'm lazy!
2. "Why does it sometimes take awhile for you to text me back or answer the phone?" ... because I might be tied up in a yoga position! ... really ... there's a lot goin' on when the mic isn't. I'll get to ya ASAP.
3. "What do you like about Denver?" ... first, my huge extended family! ... over 30 cousins! ... none of which have I ever had to bail out of jail ... yet! Second, the change of seasons and no humidity! If you've ever lived in a humid area, you know what I'm talkin' about. Third, plenty of entertainment choices. Fourth, the people ... generally as cool to you, as you are to them.
4. "What do you like to do for fun?" ... yell BINGO! ... while playin' nickle slots at Central City, listen to music, bring fried chicken into the movies, concerts, travel to places where I don't know the language and end up eating something that still looks alive, occasionally kick-it-in-da-club, goin' to the gym (or just waving when I drive by), power-walking, driving go-karts at Boondocks, swimming (or, layin' my a$$ out in the sun), bowling with a blindfold, fishing without bait (it's more challenging), visiting Asia, checkin' out the art shops in Breckenridge and touching everything, and thinking about nude beach vacations.
5. "Where do you like to eat?" ... clean places (or at least look it from where I'm sitting). I'm open to trying almost anything, but love Asian food! My favorite Chinese place is Jade Restaurant, S. Federal & Alameda. It's simple, but their dim sum (different types of dumplings) is da bomb! ... and the staff is cool. I also like Italian and a good steak once in awhile ... medium please.
6. "Where do you like to shop?" ... with this economy? ... where the sales are! ... especially if they have Tommy, Nike, Kangol, Sketchers, South Pole, and hard to find unique stuff. I always pick up a couple things when I travel. Style varies around the world.
